The Purpose of Cub Scouting

Cub Souting is the phase of the program offered by the Boy Scouts of America for first- through fifth-grade boys. The purpose of Cub Scouting is to help parents and community organizations help boys by:

        • Positively influencing character development.
        • Encouraging spiritual growth.
        • Developing habits and attitudes of good citizenship.
        • Encouraging good sportsmanship and pride.
        • Growing strong in mind and body.
        • Providing fun and exciting new things to do.
        • Preparing boys to become Boy Scouts.
        • Lets not forget HAVING FUN.
