It's Pinewood Derby Time!!!

Pack 455 Pinewood Derby 

North Branford Congregational Church

Saturday, February 3rd

10am-12pm 

Rules for Scout cars are set by the District. 

Snacks will be available for purchase.  All proceeds benefit our Pinewood Derby fund.

Awards will be given for the top 3 finishers of each rank and for the top finishers in the Pack.  All participants will receive a patch.

All Scouts placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd for their rank within the Pack are eligible to participate in the District Pinewood Derby on March 31, 2007 at McDermott Chevrolet.

Please be sure to notify your den leader if you have any awards or advancements due.  Instant recognition is an integral part of the Cub Scout program.

The Cub Scout Program - For First through Fifth Grade Boys

The Cub Scout program helps to meet a boy's growth needs.

The Cub Scout Motto

The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold.  The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty, and the sky above.
The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.  Together, they symbolize what Cub Scouting is all about.

 

 

Pack 455 is a member of the Lighthouse District of the Connecticut Yankee Council, Boy Scouts of America. The Council serves Fairfield and New Haven Counties, and part of Hartford County, in southwestern and south central Connecticut. The Lighthouse District includes the communities of Guilford, Madison, Branford, North Branford, East Haven and New Haven.

Pack 455 is chartered by North Branford Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in North Branford, Connecticut and is over 40 years old.  The Pack is open to all boys in first through fifth grade.  Our pack meetings are held on the third Friday of the month at 7pm at the North Branford Congregational Church on Foxon Road in North Branford.  New members are always welcome!
