THE HIKE TO NUCLEAR LAKE

On Sunday May 7, 2006, my dad, my brother and I went to Nuclear Lake. We walked 45 minutes. We saw snakes, birds and even fish. My brother and I went fishing but we didn't catch anything. After fishing we went on a treasure hunt. We looked everywhere but just when we were giving up, my dad picked up a rock lying in a tree, then he said, “We found the treasure”. We signed the notebook. When we were hiking back to the car, we saw another snake then I started getting really tired but I made it.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

We will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29^th.  Line up is 9:30 a.m. at the old Clove Excavators.  We will march from there up to the town hall.  Scouts should wear their full uniforms.

COMMUNITY DAY – JULY 15^th

The opening of Community Day is usually 12 noon.  The cub scouts bring in the flags as part of the opening.  Scouts should be in full uniform.  This year we will be having a booth at Community Day.  It is called Pitch Burst – when the target is hit water is dumped on the person sitting in the chair.  We will need volunteers to help with this throughout the day. 

RENEGADES BASEBALL

Saturday, July 29^th at 7:00 p.m.

$20 per ticket – includes admission to the game and all you can eat hamburgers, hotdogs and sodas for 1 ½ hours.
