Sleep Over

Accomplishments:
FORESTER

1) On a map of the US
   -Types of Forests in different parts of the US
   -Some types of trees in those forests
   -Examples of uses for the wood of those trees

2) Forest and Tree Layers
   -Draw a picture and label the Layers

3) Tour the Woods
   -Identify Six Forest Trees

4) Plant Forest Seedlings
   -Due to the cold weather we can't plant
   seedlings this late in the year. Each
   cub took an Acorn, and placed it in a
   zip lock bag with a wet paper towel.
   That zip lock went into a brown paper
   bag. The bag is to be placed in a
   warm dark spot such as your closet
   and then taken out next April and
   planted in your choice of spots!

5) Forest Fires
   -The harm, the causes, and how we
   can prevent them
ATHLETE

1) What it means to be physically healthy

2) Each Cub did 30 sit-ups

3) Each Cub did 2 pull-ups

4) Each Cub did 8 push-ups

5) Each Cub did a 9" vertical jump

6) We ran a 50 Yard Dash!



HISTORIC TRAIL HIKE

The cubs also earned a special patch for taking
the 2 hour hike on the Historic Trail!
