Minutes taken from Committee meeting on October 16, 2006.
Meeting was brought to order by and the following items were addressed:
- Parliamentary rules were set aside in favor of a casual meeting environment.
- Popcorn update.
a. Encourage your Scouts to push hard to the finish.
b. Popcorn orders are due 10/24/06 at the Pack meeting.
c. All Parents are encouraged total each sheet that they turn in.
d. Popcorn Kernal will p/u popcorn November 10, 2006.
e. Help is requested depending volume.
f. Dissemination to Pack TBD
- In Appreciation for Goodyear’s contribution to the United Way. Scouts will be asked to sign a “Thank You” Card at October Pack Meeting.
- Camp George Thomas “Cub Scout Family Adventure Weekend” is each weekend in October. It was proposed that each family that will be attending coordinate with your Den Leader, in an effort to go with a group.
- All leaders are encouraged to attend Pow Wow. It is scheduled for November 4, 2006.
- Scout for Food starts November 4, 2006. Bags are to be picked up and turned in November 11, 2006.
a. Areas were obtained during Roundtable and will be addressed and disseminated during the October Pack Meeting
- Leaders were encouraged to have Cub Scouts support Moonlight Walk October 18, 2006
- Larry Williams is working to secure a $150 Grant from American Electric Power.
- Ricky Spriggs Sr. is working to obtain a Laptop donation from a corporate sponsor.
- Discussed option of purchasing PackMaster 2006 program, but it was decided to postpone this until later.
- Kista Taylor will present options for Class “B” shirts during October Pack Meeting.
- Kista Taylor will discuss option of Halloween Safe House during October Pack Meeting.

a. Show-N-Sell Popcorn deposits $1812.39
b. Popcorn SNS paid to Council $1443.00
c. Total Popcorn and donation gain for Pack 107 $369.39
d. Current account balance $1416.98
e. Cub Cash Accounts $271.30
f. Pack Available Balance $1145.68
- Mall O’Ween is cancelled for 2006.
- Boulevard of Lights Parade is cancelled for 2006.
- Committee meeting.
a. Next Committee meeting will be on November 20, 2006, at 6:15pm at First Christian Church.
- All Leaders are encouraged to attend Round Table for individual leader training.
- Round Table
a. Next Round Table is November 9, 2006 at First Christian Church 7pm.
